Honda CR-V Performance

All gas-powered Honda CR-V trims come equipped with a 1.5L, turbo four-cylinder engine that’s worth 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of toque, capable of towing up to 1,500 lbs. You have your choice of standard front-wheel drive or available Real-Time all-wheel drive; regardless of drivetrain, the engine is paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) for smooth and predictable rides. FWD models net 30 MPG combined, while AWD lands at 29 MPG combined.

The Honda CR-V Hybrid versions come with a 2.0L, four-cylinder engine, paired alongside two electric motors that up the horsepower to 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. The CR-V Sport Hybrid and Sport-L Hybrid get FWD, while the TrailSport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid get all-wheel drive; all come with an electronically controlled CVT (eCVT).

The rear legroom of the 2026 CR-V measures 41”, which is plenty for relaxing rides. Max cargo space for the gas-only models is 76.5 cubic feet, while the hybrid CR-V models have 71.8 cubic feet of max cargo space.
