2027 Honda Passport Overview
The 2027 Honda Passport is comfortable, versatile, and casually athletic. Its complete 2026 makeover brought an all-new model with smart, rugged design inside and out, standard all-wheel drive, and updated infotainment and tech.
A 285-hp V6 and a ten-speed automatic are the one powertrain, whether you choose the standard RTL or the off-road-ready TrailSport with its retuned suspension and rugged styling. The powertrain is smoothly refined, and the ride and handling are well balanced.
What is new for 2027? The TrailSport gets a slightly lifted suspension, raised by 1.38 inches for better ground clearance and improved approach and departure angles. The black hood scoop now has integrated amber LED lights, and the fender flares are more pronounced.

Powertrain
285-hp 3.5-liter V6 with a 10-speed automatic and Honda's i-VTM4 all-wheel-drive system for fast torque-vectoring response. Seven drive modes, including Sport, Trail, and Tow, let you match the powertrain to the terrain.
TrailSport Hardware
A unique suspension tune, underside skid plates, and standard 275/60R-18 all-terrain tires. Capable off-road, and surprisingly quiet and refined on-road.
Towing
Up to 5,000 pounds, enough for water toys, snow toys, small utility trailers, and campers. TrailSport models include a trailer hitch with a seven-pin connector.
Fuel Economy
RTL: 19 city / 25 highway / 21 combined mpg. TrailSport: 18 city / 23 highway / 20 combined mpg.
In independent 75-mph highway testing, the TrailSport returned 25 mpg.

Interior, Cargo, and Technology
Comfortable Cabin
Standard heated, power-adjustable front seats, tri-zone climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 10.2-inch instrument cluster, with plenty of drink holders and cubbies. The 60/40 split rear seats have plenty of room, and heated rear outboard seats are available on the top two trims.
Cargo Space
In independent testing the Passport fit 16 carry-on suitcases behind the rear seats and 38 with the rear seats folded, just three fewer than the larger three-row Honda Pilot.
Infotainment
A 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in Google services, a 5G-LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and a wireless phone charger. Four USB-C ports, two 12-volt outlets, and 110-volt outlets on TrailSport models. Audio is 9 speakers standard, or a 12-speaker Bose system.
Safety and Driver Assistance
Every Passport includes Honda Sensing, with adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, automatic high-beam headlamps, and more. A 360-degree exterior camera system is available.
